Back to: Archive · 1991 'There's No Other Way' reviewed From the NME, 6 April 1991. By Stuart Maconie. The Home Counties drawl in the general direction of the tune is a bit upsetting, but come on, let's give the youngsters the benefit of the doubt. This is a corking single which had every manjack of us mooching and grooving within seconds. Snotty but not unpleasantly so, the stylish snarl of the guitar riff is the stuff of Lenny Kravitz' wet dreams and the beat is bang up to date, kids. No doubt, Mark Goodier will probably explode when he hears it. NME Single of the Week. |
