saturday 27 august, 2005[ the biggest todger of them all ]
the shrub is relentless.
here are some of the amendments he'd like to make in regard to UN reform in a few weeks... about 40 pages of slash 'n burn rewording to tilt everything towards the US's favor (think: greenhouse gas emissions and patriot act, among others). the end run he made in appointing 'feelgood' bolton behind everyone's backs should make this a real mardi gras for everyone involved. i (and all my favorite pundits, of course) get the distinct feeling it's sour grapes time for not getting UN backing back in those halcyon days of march 2003. "you smell like doody, kofi!" ... i can hear the taunts now.
today i'm mostly listening to: love detective - arab strab
roy rogers - elton john
now to war - guided by voices
amplifier - jucifer
tv eye - stooges
school of fish - fluke starbucker
girlfriend is worse - ex models
tube disasters - flux of pink indians

Sometimes you dream, sometimes it seems
There's nothing there at all
You just seem older than yesterday
And you're waiting for tomorrow to call
inconsistency you can rely on! peace out.

pat robertson is preaching hatred. by publicly calling for the murder of hugo chavez, that is exactly what he is doing. but since the US is being more virulently hypocritical and clandestine than ever, we should hardly expect him to be reprimanded even though he boldly contravenes the 'new, tougher' (sic) anti-terrorist (again, sic) policies with his remarks. and as can be expected, they will skirt the issue and treat him like he's going off his rocker for the time being until... the right wing accepts more cash from him, well, then all will be absolved. crazy old pat. god love him. i'm not in love with jesse jackson either, but he called robertson's remarks "morally degenerate" and said bush and condi "cannot be silent on such a suggestion by one who has had such a relationship with the white house" (or house of whitey as i like to call it). what infuriates me most is this lovely plum:

"If he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it... it's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war. And I don't think any oil shipments will stop."
don't you? i think venezuela should cut the line right now. something has to stop these vampiric black crude junkies.
this will sweep
iraq's latest, incredibly wrathful violence off the radar for a day anyway. federalism aside, they simply aren't being given enough time to draft an intellectual, thought-out constitution. it plays more like an 18-year old boy in a backseat who can't get his drawers off fast enough. if i were a sunni i'd be screaming 'NO' too.
did ya miss me? sunshine burger is back!

i thought steve coogan was a clever guy. so why was he dipping his wick in courtney hole? is this how ugly their baby could get?

eeeeeeEEEEEEEEEK! my mind is fairly blank at present... dezz has a cold & i hope i don't get it. and i am better than ever at keeping people i don't want to sit near me on the train at bay. on the way back from london yesterday i sent a smokey-joe and a mobile-yeller in the opposite direction with a simple gesture or two. hey, it's survival the way i look at it.
i don't care if you smoke, but don't stand inside the train and blow your cancerous exhale towards the open door before it closes... about 50% of the stench comes inside. you idiot.
this is a stupid entry but i'm just trying to get back into the habit of doing this. robert moog died. i've been having chiropody. sunday i cried looking at photos. young frances cobain is suprisingly lovely. why do black beans always boil over?
monday 22 august, 2005[ and the ship sails on ]
so there i was, back in july, ready to do an update and then some fuckwits decide to blow up london. this background design (comprised of 2 ed ruscha prints, fiddled with by yours truly) is dedicated to those who decide to attack people on the street instead of going after the source.
