Hunting With Lola
Ooh, another guitar song! Another bassline (albeit extremely basic and out of tune!)! I dunno, I had the little tune I liked so I made this. It's definitely American in origin. It's a device more than a song. The murmuring is not understandable, but I can supply the words if you want.

Food Fight
An abandoned work-in-progress. Rough plans. It's a mix of two familiar faces in the music world, but I ran out of ideas for it...

Arsenal Are Shit
Yes I am a Tottenham fan. This is, of course, terrible. Perhaps that's why my wife likes it so much? Or perhaps... ah well, it is certainly amusing. And yes, I know: Arsenal are not shit. Contains the most pointless count-in ever!

Dreaming
I've always loved playing around with samples and creating weird "tunes". I really like this one, though. It's very good in my opinion.

Venetian Traffic Jam
Can I Touch It?
Track one takes its name from the car horn-alike sound towards the end of the song. It's sort of like a straightforward song structure but with weird, or unusual, sounds. I really like this one also!

"Can I Touch It?" takes its name from the one vocal sample in the song. I think this was meant to be my attempt at a "proper" sample-based song, as opposed to me screwing around for the benefit of myself.

Torture Box
In an attempt to create a more organic sounding song, I created this thing by taking weird noises and then messing around with all the settings. The result sounds like being stuck in a box full of bees and things. Says me, anyway!

Never Touch The Brown Acid
Stay Numb
The Filth And The Fury
Ah, the first one is quite old but I really really like it. Good through headphones. The second one is made up of (I think) just three samples. It's a kind-of chilled out, half-speed drum'n'bass. I think the sounds came from somafm.com.

The third song is made up of samples ripped directly from somafm, and also the film The Filth And The Fury. It's the Sex Pistols explaining the Britain that created them, set to a drum'n'bass backing track. D'n'B. What do I know about it? Actually, "Stay Numb" is made from the same samples as this one.

Arena Of The Unwell
Ha, some guitar samples that came with Cakewalk, a nice drum pattern, then I stretched it out too long with silly sounds. Then Withnail & I samples get thrown into the mix.

Sing It High
Happiness
Phat Phunk
Stone Wagner (Demo)
"Sing It High" is basically the loudest I can go while living in a terraced house with a tiny amp. It's just messing around. It's fun to mess around. "Happiness" is one long sample from the film Happiness set to a simple drum loop. No jigging was needed. The two parts fit perfectly.

"Phat Phunk" is me being Fatboy Slim! And "Stone Wagner" is the Stone Roses and Wagner bunged together in a pot. Completely unfinished. It's just an idea.

March Of The Evil Mean Beans
A tune for marching. Another of my weird sample creations. This is the type of music I like!

Noodle
The drums come from "100%" by Sonic Youth. The "bass" and "guitar" are me going "Wooooooo" with a mic and some fx. This is more of the music I like.

Pling
Begins with a sample from the film Battle Royale, and carried by a cool drumloop with loud guitar and Frank Black screams. A joint effort!

Waiting
The first song I recorded when I got Cakewalk. The two layers of feedback are what make it, plus the bassline is something I don't usually do. I'm proud of this little baby!

Gone
An old song, recorded (while having a deadly flu) in a guy's Brooklyn basement around 1998. "I have a real soft spot for this song, especially the ending where it goes all psycho-diesel" she says.

Jackie Chan
Our first collaboration. The bass track is RB on an acoustic guitar, fuzzed-out and pitch-shifted to hell and back.

Kill Me Free
A bit of insanity frankenstein-ed together about the same time as "Evenings At Home". The Kinks were my unwitting accomplices, along with Radiohead. Short and sweet.

Evenings At Home
I did this while Derry & Dan were seeing Radiohead at Earl's Court. My first PC-based music experience. I am the queen of analog normally so this is weird for me. It's a melange of samples from Sonic Youth, Radiohead, and Country Joe and the Fish!
