Ex-Blur guitarist Graham Coxon is now a thirtysomething teetotaller, his rambunctious, boozing days behind him. His music nowadays, then, is generated by temperance - and, as with "rock'n'roller" Cliffy Richard, whose music is generated by chastity, you can kind of tell. Standing... phuts and sparks along like a three-wheeler with the exhaust hanging off, but it's as if it's living off a memory of the chaos and emotional complications only a day spent lowering 18 pints of Staropramen can trigger. |
