Pete Doherty made a surprise appearance in London on Saturday (November 27) when he joined Graham Coxon onstage at the Forum. The star walked on to rapturous applause during the former Blur guitarist's encore to perform The Libertines' classic 'Time For Heroes'.

Coxon told the crowd, "I'd just like to welcome my friend on for the next song," before Doherty appeared dressed in a white vest and leather jacket and the pair gave each other a hug. Doherty then tore through singing the song, while jumping around the stage and climbing on the speaker stacks.

One fan told NME.COM, "I was so shocked to see Pete come on - everyone went crazy and danced like mad! It was absolutely amazing."

Coxon recently covered 'Time For Heroes' as part of his Radio 1 Jo Whiley Live Lounge session.
